Hey all,
I did Pinfest in the spring. I have never done White Rose. Anyone here going? Is it worth my while?

I used to go many, many years ago with the kids....much smaller venue than Pinfest. with less vendors as well.

What is your purpose for going? Playing? For Parts? For mods? To buy?
It is a great show if you’d like to play a lot of older games like EMs and early solid-states. Limited part supplies and mods to buy.

Hmmm....I would go to play....looking for parts and odds and ends would be second. I have never been and I have some time off so I thought I may check it out. Sounds like I should just wait for Pinfest 2024. I watched a walkthrough video on Youtube from last year and it looked pretty good.Honey Badger wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 2:52 pm What is your purpose for going? Playing? For Parts? For mods? To buy?

I recommend you go if your primary purpose is to play. It is half the size of Allentown but you should go at least once to check it out.

Re: White Rose show....anyone going?
Planning on going this year. I've been meaning to go for YEARS but it was hard with family commitments and then COVID. I've actually never been to a pinball show outside of the Ottawa/Hawkesbury ones.
Like Honey Badger said, it's a show that tends to attract the more eclectic titles. They regularly have a bingo row too!
I'm not finding the USA really inviting these days so I don't plan to travel there much, but I have two friends down South who I am meeting there and I've been meaning to say hello for a while, so this might be my one big trip there.

Re: White Rose show....anyone going?
Is anyone going that might have room in their vehicle to assist me?
Even if you are in Montreal I'd be able to arrange bringing stuff to you and picking up from you there.
I got an offer of a ride that I am extremely grateful for and would like to accept, but I'm also trying to orchestrate a trade down there.
I want to bring 2 small prewar pins and bring back up a table (literally a table, not a pinball table) that measures about 61"x29" but is only 11" tall with the legs off.
I can pitch towards gas money.
