These things are still popular in Japan. It’s a little like carnival shooting galleries. Basically you shoot little chalk figurines off a shelf with a cork gun(air). The model/color/style of the figurine determines your “prize”.
So I got this project to work on for Cait. As soon as I disassembled it I could see the problem. The rubber plunger was rotten and fell apart. I don’t have rubber so I turned a plastic plunger on my lathe and made it grooved for o-rings, which I have in abundance lol. Results are way better than I imagined
