Was trying to work on Gulfstream, but kept getting distracted designing 3D models to replace:

Plastic caps with magenta tips to better match the colours.
A TPU chime grommet which ended up sounding pretty darn good.
A small tool to better bang out all those small inserts that were just slightly sunk, but enough to be annoying.

Technically, that was a couple of days ago.. but it was all part of a long day of shopping out the machine. Glad I did as the game is fantastic when it has been gone through to play fast and mean!

Finished up a beauty to bring to Ontario Pinfest....

Working on a Nucleus Cannon by Toei. Star Castle clone. I got the board to run, but vector monitor needs work. Lots of extra lines. I didn't take a picture yet but here is one from the ad.

Need a lot of TLC. Cabinet is showing it's age, but nothing I can't rebuild. Will need a new top. Some sandblasting and powder coating. But he'll, the game works, so why not.

I took the monitor out. It is a KZ-14 by LAI. I will start by recapping it and checking all solder points. As I said, it lights up, and I see graphics, but it is pale and has lots of extra lines.

Galaxy does have home made plastics for the inlanes and they are not long enough toward the flipper so I've made plexi extensions that goes under them.

No more ball bumps between the plastics and the flippers Not pretty but it works, until I get a new plastic set

I cut the feet for Chris Silver's arcade cabinet. 3/4" oak plywood, 2 sheets thick, for stability. Drilled for t-nuts. Will have pics this weekend as I am about to put it all together. I have everything set up to fit. Just have to find a spot for the speakers. Might be on bottom. I don't want to compromise the look of the cab.

I have been working on a Williams OXO for a little while now. Game was dead and rough but I am 90% there. One stupid issue left that is intermittent. Often, when hitting a 1000 point item, the relay stays stuck and chime locks on. It then no longer scores anything at 1000 points. I went through the 6 upper lane switches, and outlane/inlane switches and I didn't find one stuck.

I finagled with the 1000 point relay and didn't get any change. I want to get this figured out and be done with it. Lol. I will have to draw out all related circuits to figure it out. It is a weird one. Lol

Found it! Bad contact on 1000-point relay. Plays great now. But DAYUM. EMs are finicky. Lol.
