Post by wizardsden »

Hi All,

I just wanted to post for the Durham Region a link to our league web site. We just started the league over a month ago and would like the pinball world of MAACA to be aware of our existence. Web site is : http://www.drapinballleague.com

Anyone in the Durham Region as well as Toronto area are welcome to attend our league nights. I will be hosting on Sunday September 8th, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as a free event inorder to get pinheads interested in attending weekly events held at members homes. Inorder to receive emails you must register with the league.

Go to the web site under contact us to find out more information.

Please spread the word and let it be known that pinball does exist in the Durham Region Area.

Great news. I'll do my best to make over on Sunday, Eddie.

Sweet collection of pins. Need to practice my moves on your Bally Black Belt.

... and I'll try to remember to bring samosas again.

Had a great time at your place today, Eddie, even though you thoroughly kicked my butt out of the semi-finals! And your wife ran away with the samosas!?!

... but I'm glad I didn't have to play against Andrew's 7-year old pinball prodigy! Good grief. It was humbling enough losing to MonkeyBug's kid.

Great grub, games, and people. Good times.

Thanks!

Thanks,

I was expecting another few members to attend which would have given us 4 to 5 groups. But it was a tough one and Andrew's kid was playing amazing. I got stuck with him in the quarter finals and he picked Sopranos to play. He kicked my ass and then decided to pick the same machine. This time I got the upper hand and then as a tie breaker we played Striker Xtreme and I took him on the last ball. What a great player......And imagine how good he is going to get in a couple of years, now that is realllllllll scarrrrrrrrrry. To make it even more interesting I ended up playing my neighbor for the keg of beer. With a one, one tie it was up to him to select the machine. And of all machines to pick, he selects Lethal Weapon 3. Need I say more!!!!!!!!! My first ball over 100,000,000 and it was game over.

Second event in a row that the host has won.

Looking forward to some more outings and some good pinball with all the boys down the road.

And thanks to the member for the comment about the web site. First site I have really spent some time on and it turned out pretty good for a first timer.
