Admittedly, there aren't many. It's a disparity reflective of the pinball community as a whole. In her opening remarks, Schneider notes that there are twice as many men named John as there are women in total listed in the international pinball player database. But over the last several years things have been changing, and women in pinball are becoming harder and harder to ignore.
No way am I posting this to pinside though, tired of the stalkers there.

Very cool, I wish my wife was more into pinball.

Sadly, the only game she liked was GnR that i had twice, bought a pristine example to make her happy but as the hobby turned into an obsession, I sold it to buy something else... I wish I didnt.

What is this... 1958? LOL

Sure, there are less women than men playing pinball... so what! LOL

Just like women at my work... Celebrate their presence. Don't resign yourself to it...

Nevermind the Neanderthals... WOMEN, MEN and ALL ALIENS are welcome here! Case in point, Gis is a member! LOL
Hey, read the full article, no one is resigned to it, quite the opposite. :)
The article is very positive, it's not "this is terrible stuff", but an examination and celebration of women playing more and organizing around it! Just women talking about the game and their experiences.

Although now I want to read about this Crazy Flipper Fingers crew and the trouble they've caused.

That picture is badass^2

The article is a breath of fresh air after all the negative vibes on the forum over the last few days.

Please note I do not condone the placing of a foot on the cabinet and would totally speak to her about it. :)
(Especially not on the cab of a $9k game...)

Good... you tell her. I wouldn't... she looks like she can kick my ass, even if I did fight back. LOL The redneck naked-woman-semi-truck-hood-emblem tats on the arm are a red flag for me. LOL I don't care which gender... I have had bad experiences with bikers. LOL

Yeah this quote from the article....
the Crazy Flipper Fingers has a reputation as a tough, hard-drinking crew that's been in its share of brawls over the years. She's one of a handful of women in the 35-person gang, but it's not hard to see how she's carved out a space for herself; she's an imposing presence, a former college rugby player who stands about 5'10 and isn't afraid to talk (or shout) back at anyone who crosses the line.
