Ya, I dealt with the same. Levis is and always will be a joke. Whatever construction firm has that contract is set for life. Entering into Quebec and Montreal is terrible too. Quebec and Montreal both have ring roads, but traffic is still ridiculous. I know traffic in Ottawa is shit too, but at least the reason is because you have to drive through the city. Quebec and Montreal you are just grazing the sides of them and you still have to deal with bumper to bumper bullshit.
I had one truck driver decide he owned the road as we entered a construction area. The lanes merged, but we hadn't gotten to the merge bit yet but he took it upon himself to block everyone from passing and decided to just drive on the center line. The problem being that I was already along side him on his right, so as he coasted over to the middle of the road he edged me towards the gravel shoulder. I accelerated past him which ended up with my wife screaming at me. Me braking would have stopped us and we would've ended up with the back of his trailer hitting the side of our little SUV. Explaining to my wife that accelerating was the best option didn't go over well.
But ya, people are idiots.
