A bit of a milestone for me yesterday. Without getting into many details as to why, other than a visit at the Montreal Pinball Arcade on Fridays, and the occasional visit at a Borderland Pinball Collective meeting, I have not really seen much of anyone for years. Burn-out.. social anxiety... whatever. I would get nervous when invited to a person's house. It got bad.

Well, yesterday I went to visit Mrhide's Little Tokyo, which never disappoints. If ever you get invited for a soirée, GO!! LOL

And I capped my day seeing an old friend in Targetlaf. It has been way too long.

The highlight of my month!!!

Life is short... see friends... have a good chat!

Oh... and I duid get a nice monitor from Phil, and a backbox from Martin. ;)

Ian

I was at Pinball Expo in Chicago last weekend, helping with the prewar pinball booth non-stop. https://pinballnovice.blogspot.com/2024 ... -more.html
I also gave a lecture on Pinball Ancestry, which was recorded by Pinball News and is in the above link.

Had an absolute blast, met so many people, and I got to play so many of the latest pins and a pile of rare ones.

Drilled the holes in my right Elvira ramp bigger so the optos will actually line up with them instead of trying to shine through the plastic ramp itself. Hopefully this will solve the game going haywire and increasing the score to a ridiculous value by itself.

I finally set up the sandblaster and tested it on some old rusty aprons I have had for 18 years. Primed and painted.

I have some coindoors to do next.
