When is that Portal Extended module expected to come?
I have a new pin in the basement (thank you Sparky for making that happen!) still in need of setup (I've been away) and a trade stimulator arriving next week.

Looks like I have to sell a pin to make room for another... eyeing Slugfest. Sigh.... I guess I will pull it out. I had the board rebuilt. Just need to change 3 connectors.

I like it, but I played it a while and found that it fit a spot in my gameroom, but didn't fit the vibe as much as I thought. I am not a DMD guy.

Now fully working. Had way more issues than disclosed. Also after 25 years of doing this i finally had my first glass explosion. Yay. Glad I had a bunch of spares lol. And no it wasn’t on concrete. It’s where all the glass flew - I was holding the glass in the air.

Yeah the fuse kept blowing. Rottendog Board was locked on for that lower right VUK coil as well as the right slingshot. Put back in the Original board that had apparently been refusbished by an “expert” in BC. Dear god. Hack of a repair(lifted traces, blobs of solder not even making contact to anything, trace jumpered amateurely). So then Left ramp coil was not working. Had to hack the board hack. Left ramp coil was now getting triggered but coil high power was not working (eos switch corroded). Motor (rotating flipper) relay was not working and when I fixed it the motor power contacts were corroded and not making contact. Car was triggering hit switch permanently and needed adjustment as springs were barely pulling. Flippers were loose. All the coils were replaced for no reason (amateur thinking they wear out). Coil connections are all badly crimped connectors instead of solder. Bunch of wires had popped out of the shitty crimps. Still have to cut/strip/solder those crimped connections that are still holding as they will eventually fail. Broken resistor leg on opto board. DMD has 2 columns out. Double target was jammed together and both stuck on. Left lower VUK still super weak as everything in that mech is loose and screws stripped. Legs are wrong(not Gtb) and tremclad painted. Leg bolts are wrong(mix of 5/8 and 9/16). Levellers are homemade weird contraptions. No key for BG-permanently unlocked which means the BG popped out in transport but no damage. Pic of subway ramps getting cleaned off in ultrasonic. Man they were disgusting! Other than that YES it was “just a fuse”.

Well, almost pretty much out. Difficulties at home are forcing my hand. All I have left after this pick-up is Diamond Lady (needs shop, but reimport, so condition 5/10, cheap sale later), Arena (plays great but looks like crap, cheap sale later), Future Spa (all redone, would be a hard sell), and vids like Wizard of Wor, Mouse Trap, Warlords cocktail (project), and 4-player Demolition Derby (project).

Spy Hunter, Defender, QBert, Big Game, Baby Pac, Paragon, Dolly Parton, Slugfest, Scorpion, Card Whiz, Blue Max, Gimme A Break, Solar City, and then some. All leaving.

I will continue to fix as long as I physically can, but collecting no longer a possibility. Over-stretched. And it is a high-priced hobby now, on which I cannot justify the expense. I will stick to going to an arcade if I want to play. Less stress.

Lots of interest on Future Spa. Now looking at the last items I may list...

I have a ton of parts for the Atari Warlords cocktail, so I just have to put it all together. But, I am missing the power brick and audio regulator. Will dig something up.

The Demolition Derby 4-player needs assembly. That can still be a long-term project. Power supply and wiring all rebuilt. Just debating replacing the dead monitor with another CRT, or going LCD.

Gtb Arena, well, I have to install a flipper assembly, but otherwise, although looks like dogshit, it plays. That may go VERY cheap.

Wizard of Wor will probably stay. Same for Mouse Trap, unless I get a really good offer. Both work perfectly. Just have to finish sandblasting the coindoor for Mouse Trap.

Oh yeah, I also have a gutted cocktail Extra Bases in the shed... may just convert it to a different trackball game, like maybe Missile Command, or maybe Arkanoid or something. It is essentially worthless.

Done as dinner after that. Focus on repairs.

Found a power brick for Warlords locally!! Super happy!!

But, still can't get Arcadeshop.com to ship to Canada. Big pain in the ass. Will have to find another source for parts in regards to spinner pots and buttons.

Use cross border shipments, I believe they are in Saint-Laurent. The money you pay for the service is usually about the same as the discount for Arcadeshop shipping to a US address.

I ended up buying for cheaper on Ebay, with the seller happily shipping to Canada.

I did a quick research and most services like USA2Me require I pay for a subscription, or pay extra fees to reship.

I am sorry, but this US cross-border thing really is utter bullshit. I get stuff from all over the world, no issue. But the US? Most often a big pain in the ass. I ship to the US a lot, and no intermediate service required. Open border, my ass. LOL

I will just send my business elsewhere. Aliexpress is less hassle, and costs 2 bucks to ship. LOL

Bring my family to amusement 20/20 at Brossard, I liked that all the machine only take one token to play. Most the money gone for the racing games (one game wasn't linked and mario kart steering a little loose, but games in genral were in good condition.

Played a few pinball machines: Avengers (didn't like the flow), TMNT- Stranger Thing (just ok), Mandalorian (like it more than I thought) and Foo Fighter (always like this one, easy for me)

An the impossible happened... I put my name on Foo Fighters! Ok it's help that you have 15 differents possibles high scores but for a few seconds I could feel like I was on par with player like Azatoth or Mr.Hide   lol

Well, I started cleaning up the parts inventory. I have been very busy at work, making extra overtime (gotta pay f'ing Revenu Quebec... those fackers are money-hungry). I am looking forward to the long weekend to start really cleaning up. There are still 5 games in the basement to play. My Wizard of Wor and Mouse Trap, as well as the well-worn Arena. I also have 2 pins on loan, Jungle Lord and Totem. I have had an offer to sell Arena, but I don't want to deal with a sale. Everyone wants a delivery. If I move it, it is to bring it to the ecocenter. LOL

A few others in for repairs/builds, but they should be leaving soon. Waiting on some board work to be done on a couple. Others need some assembly.

As for my projects? Not many. I want to de-convert the Atari Warlords cocktail. I need a couple more parts, but I nearly have everything I need to make it original. Demolition Derby remains in the basement. Just don't feel like taking it out. LOL. And the Extra Bases cocktail is still in the shed.
