6 inch japanese Toei monitor (Hitachi tubes)

Repaired 4 of these miniature beauties last fall.
All were blowing the fuse at startup, redid the simplistic P/S section and fixed all of them.

Projecting to use one of them to build a miniature Mame someday.

I fully recapped this one and the result was a scrambled picture :cry: , took me few days to find out a tinny cap was missing after the job. (before/after pictures) :FP:

CRT pictures game of the month !!

Espgaluda ! The easiest from the modern hardcore vertical shooters. Played a lot and super fun. Lot of deep rules to follow and learn.

Crt pictures of the month :-) 2 great shooters with different style, they have really nice graphics, effects and soundtracks.
I like dragons and both have a lot !! Cyvern and Sorcer Striker, i'm in love :-) All mame players should try and apreciated those.

Anybody need a VGA --> CGA board to play whatever you want on a CRT?

I ordered one for my P2K but didn't need it in the end. It's new (haven't even opened the shipping box yet). It's this one:

"quelqu'un ma dit" : Makvision était l'ancien Pentranic qui était dans la région de a Toronto dans les années 90 et possiblement avant ca. André Mak a acheter Pentranic et a continuer a produire des CRT dans la region de Waterloo, ont parle de 2001-2005. Apres ca André a graduellement envoyer la production en chine: les chassis Wei-ya qui ont pas une super réputation.

Je suis curieux de voir ce que tu vas en penser mais j'ai déjà ma petite idée la dessus ...surtout si tu l'as acheté neuf!


Celui-ci? surement pas, c'est l'autre en 15hz right?

C'est le même que dans le vidéo, tri-mode et auto switch entre cga-ega-vga.
Il est maintenant fabriqué a Taïwan.
Je vais essayé de tester ca bientôt.

Moniteur plugger et tester, je voulais surtout voir s'il avait survécu au shipping :lol:
Première très bonne impression. La géométrie a besoin d'un peu d'ajustement et toutes les possibilitées sont offerte par des pots sur le board, pincushion, trapèze et ect ... deux pots pour le focus a cause qu'il est plat, un focus pour le centre et un pour les bords. Je remet tout ca dans la boite pour un futur projet ha ha j'ai d'autres choses a finir :lol:

Y'en a pas, c'est des moniteurs de replacement surtout pour des games + recente. C'est pas donner du tout, ca vient de suzo happ. + de 1000$ rendu dans le sous-sol :mrgreen:

The ultimate toy for a CRT lover, one of the last and biggest arcade monitor. Résolution is standard and medium. 39'' de pur bonheur :) :)
La magie de crt est irremplaçable.

it's "only ~ 160lbs" If I remember correctly. and you have places to hold it!

I've seen 36inch tvs that were 180 pounds with NO grips at all

Yeah, compared to my vids and pins, very easy to move. Weight of this fantastic monitor is no problem and the visual beauty have no équivalent for arcade games.
