Anyone here interested in helping us acquire 1980s issues of Coin Journal for digital preservation?
We have a very special opportunity before us: a number of FULL YEAR RUNS of Coin Journal [月刊コインジャーナル] are up for auction, ending this Monday morning (May 12). (plus some early standalone issues)
These will be very expensive to purchase, and I am asking for help from the broader arcade collector community. We can make this happen. These can all get scanned at 600 DPI and shared with everyone. But we need to win as many of these auctions as possible.
full details including how to donate:

We have currently raised over $1000 USD but there's still a lot more room to grow. These magazines are incredibly rare and pricey.
Every little bit helps. We've received support from across the globe.
Some past issues we have digitized:
Coin Journal 1989-06 https://archive.org/details/Coin-Journa ... ne%201989/
1992-08 https://archive.org/details/CoinJournal ... 1992%2008/
1993-07 https://archive.org/details/coin-journa ... ly%201993/
1996-05 https://archive.org/details/Coin-Journa ... ay%201996/
Imagine scans like that, but issues from 1984! 1985! 1986?? wow!
Just look at these crazy cool covers!
