Custom pinball guitars

Post by Azatotht »

These pinball guitars are amazing!

Just seen that on a Facebook post, unfortunaly I cannot post Facebook videos but the inserts lights are working and there is a light show going on just like an attract mode.

If you're a guitar enthusiast AND a pinhead, this combines both hobbies pretty well. Would look amazing on stage imo.

Crafted with Precision
Our pinball guitars are truly one of a kind. The tops of these guitars are made from original and authentic playfields that have been salvaged from old pinball machines. The playfields are stripped of all of their components, milled down and repurposed into our guitar tops. All of the wear and patina on these playfields is from years of “game play”. We relic the rest of the guitar to match the wear that is found on the playfields.

Step 1: Secure Your Dream Playfield
The journey begins with you. Browse our store site and discover a treasure trove of vintage and modern pinball playfields. From classic favourites to rare gems, find the playfield that speaks to you and embodies your vision for the ultimate guitar.

Step 2: Collaborate with Our Team
Once you've secured your dream playfield, our team will work with you to find the best layout and design for that playfield.

We understand that each pinball guitar is a personal statement, so we'll work closely with you to bring your vision to life. Whether it's selecting the perfect hardware, fine-tuning the electronics, or adding personalized touches, we'll ensure that every detail exceeds your expectations.

Flat top style guitars work best for Pinball guitars. For example, Telecaster, Les Paul Jr, Cithara Standard Model, Explorer, and occasionally P-Bass or Stratocaster’s. Typically, a flat top with binding is the perfect formula for these guitars.

Step 3: Lighting and Electronics
We have developed a system that allows us to put lights back in the playfield where they were originally located in the game. This is an added feature and does affect the price of the guitar. There are two different options in regards to lights, and they are:

1: Light function on/off
2: Fully programmed lights

And even more amazing, this is a Canadian business!

Cithara Guitars is a Custom Guitar Shop located in Hamilton Ontario, forty-five minutes west of Toronto. Cithara Guitars offers a full line of crafted acoustic and electric guitars, as well as repairs and restorations. Our customers also enjoy the experience of designing and building their custom guitar one on one with the luthier through the hands on clinic.

I remember seeing Ed Robertson's guitar made out of a Dolly Parton playfield. It looked great
